Note: 4 Color Scarf, 4 Color Fingerless Gloves, and Ridged Windowpane Hat can all be made with 2 balls Color A and 1 ball each of Colors B, C, and D.
Pattern stitches:
Ch, sl st, sc, dc
Ch 26
Color B:
Row 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across. Ch 1, turn. (25 sc)
Row 2-6: Sc in each st across. Ch 1, turn.
Row 7: Sc in each st across. Fasten off.
Row 8: Attach Color A. Repeat Row 2.
Row 9: Repeat Row 7. Fasten Off.
Row 10: Attach Color C. Ch 3, skip next st, dc, * ch 1, skip next st, dc*. Fasten Off.
Row 11: Attach Color A. Sc in each dc and each ch 1 space across. Ch 1, turn.
Row 12: Repeat Row 7.
Row 13-30: Attach Color D. Repeat Row 2.
Row 31: Sl st in the stitch you just made and the corresponding stitch from the beginning crochet chain of the pattern and in the next 4 sc/chs. Fasten Off. Skip 5 stitches. Join yarn in 6th stitch and Sl st as you have been doing to the end. Fasten Off and Weave in loose ends.
