4 Color Scarf Pattern

Materials:

1 ball each Misti Alpaca Worsted Colors A (Coral Melange),   B (Moss Grey Melange), C (Grey Melange), and D (Marigold Melange). These colors on Sale! Click here to see

Pattern stitches:

Ch, sl st, sc, dc

V stitch: Dc, ch 1, dc in indicated stitch

3 in 1 stitch: Work 3 dc in indicated stitch, leaving the last loop of each on the hook (4 loops on hook), yo and pull through all 4 loops.

A. Color A: This is the beginning of the entire pattern which is repeated 6 times.

Row 1: Ch 16, sc in 2^nd st from hook. Sc in each chain. (15 stitches)

Row 2: Ch 1, turn, sc in each st across.

Row 3: Repeat Row 2.

Row 4: Ch 3, turn, * skip one stitch, DC, ch 1 * across. End with Dc in last stitch.

Row 5: Ch 1, turn, sc in each ch 1 and each dc across.

Row 6: Repeat Row 2. Fasten Off.

Color B: 

Row 1: Attach B with sl st. Ch 3 (Counts as dc and 1^st st), V st in next st, * skip 2 sts, V st in next st. * dc in last st. (5 V sts)

Row 2: Ch 3, turn. 3 in 1 stitch in ch 1 of V st, * ch 2, 3 in 1 in next V st * across.

DC in last ch 3.

Row 3: Ch 3, (counts as dc and 1^st st) V st in top of 3 in 1 st. * Sk ch 2, V st in top of 3 in 1 st * across, dc in last ch 3. Fasten off.

B. Color A:

Row 1: Attach Color A with sc. Skip next stitch, sc in each ch and stitch across until the last arm of the last V. Skip that stitch and sc in last stitch (15 stitches)

Row 2 : Ch 1, turn, sc across, Fasten off.

Attach Color C:

Repeat pattern under Color B. Fasten Off

Attach Color A:

Repeat pattern under B. Color A. Fasten Off

Attach Color D:

Repeat pattern under Color B. Fasten Off

Attach Color A:

Repeat entire pattern, beginning with A. Color A through Color D 6 times.

End the scarf by repeating the A. Color A section. Do NOT fasten off. Ch 1, turn,

This is the beginning of the spirals for the end. Sc in next st, * ch 12, 3 sc in 2^nd ch from hook and in each ch back to the body of the scarf. Sc in next 3 sts * until you have made 5 spirals. Sc in last sts and fasten off.

Attach Color A to the opposite end of the scarf with a sl st. Sc in next st, * ch 12, 3 sc in 2^nd ch from hook and in each ch back to the body of the scarf. Sc in next 3 sts * until you have made 5 spirals. Sc in last sts and fast off. 

Weave in ends.
