Do not break yarn. Pull out 15 yards from ball and make loopy yarn. Every 3 – 6 inches make an overhand knot leaving a loop about ½ inch long. These loops need to vary in distance apart to get them to randomly appear in knitting. Stripes form if they are evenly spaced.
Knit 10 rounds being sure to cause loops to fall on the knit side. Some stitches may be loose to get loop on front of work. Occasionally you will need to pull the loop through with the stitch. Just be sure to have loops show on knit side. If one accidentally falls on the back, pull it through with a crochet hook after finishing.
Picot Bind off: *knit on 2 stitches, bind off 5 st in the usual way. Transfer st from RH needle to LH needle.*
Follow * * instructions until all st are bound off.
